Blending the old with the new is our Kembang Manggar series. The dotted weaving pattern belongs to Tuban’s traditional motif that has been passed on from generation to generation. The dainty white dots resemble the isen-isen of kembang manggar batik—a type of flower craft decorating traditional festivities. The fabric, woven using the warp float technique, is partly dyed with natural colourant such as mahogany and alum.
With its cultural heritage roots, Kembang Manggar rediscovers a long tradition and uplifts it with a more current taste. The dominant brownish hue reminds us of the ever-present colour in traditional Javanese textiles. A play of criss-crossing lines becomes a pleasing visual and texture to this heirloom pattern where each thread tells a story of tradition, craftsmanship, and timeless beauty. The base fabric is handwoven by pedal loom weavers in Pak Fajar’s house, Tuban.

All orders will be shipped from Jakarta within 3-5 working days unless they are pre-ordered or custom-made. International shipments are available worldwide by door-to-door air freight.
We take design and craftsmanship earnestly, and we want you to receive these pieces with much care. Our items are carefully inspected prior to shipment, but on the occasion a mistake happens, please notify us within 48 hours; our team will promptly work on a replacement after reviewing the case.
Return or exchange can be made within 14 days of receipt. Custom orders, fabric per meter, gifts, and sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. All items must be in new, unused condition with any tags still attached.
